Johnson's Interiors is a
family business. Father, Robert E. "Toddy" Johnson and son John B.
"J.B." and his wife, Lockee operate this thriving business in South
Knoxville, Tennessee. The majority of our business comes from the rapidly
growing communities in Sevier County. Over the past 59 years our original
location has undergone many changes, including expanding the workroom where all
of our draperies are made.
In the early days of the company, slipcovers was the main product. Today
we don't even do slipcovers. Customers now ask for window treatments
ranging from the basic economical treatment to the most elaborate luxury designs.
All fabrication takes place in our shop locally, where quality comes first.
At present we have a staff of decorators, installers, &
seamstresses with a combined experience totaling over 355 years, including ( but
not limited to) draperies, valances, cornices, lambrequins, swags, and cascades,
balloon shades, mini blinds, vertical blinds, pillow, placemats, custom quilted
coverlets, bed spreads, pillow shams, dust ruffles, drapery rods and many more
items. We are ready to give fast service on short notice to help with your
regular order windows or any "emergency" window problems that you
might have.
One of our in installers, Frances Harmon has been with us for 35 years.
Customers often ask for her by name when their job is ready to be installed.
Pat Starritt, their main designer, joined us 12
years ago, but she has been decorating for over 25 years.
She likes to
create unusual window treatments including the use of trims.
Some commercial business, such as banks, is done each year but the majority is
residential. When you have been in business for 56 years you build up a
solid reputation. That is why our company slogan is
"Where
Quality Comes First! ".
Robert E. "Toddy" Johnson has been associated with the drapery making
business since 1939 and opened his own business in 1946 after returning from
W.W.II.
For first quality material and workmanship, let us give you an estimate at NO
obligation to you. |
